Ed Tech Introduction

Hello everyone! My name is Dylan McDonald, and I’m excited to share a bit about myself. I’m originally from Lemoore, California, where I developed a love for working out, cooking, and building LEGO creations. Currently, I wrestle for Minot State University as the starting 125-pounder and also serve as a student representative for SACC.

I recently completed my bachelor’s degree and am now pursuing my master’s. My journey to Minot was driven by the opportunity to receive an excellent education alongside a wrestling scholarship. While I’ve embraced this new chapter of my life, adjusting to the cold North Dakota weather has been challenging—I often find myself missing the 100-degree days back in California, not to mention my family.

Thank you for taking the time to learn a little about me. I’m looking forward to making the most of my time here at Minot State!

    I miss the winters in Arizona, too. Even though I grew up in Montana, winters seem to be longer and longer!

       This week's readings really opened my eyes as I didn't realize how much I used hypertext in the past in school and everyday life. I find hypertext to be a great tool for students to use especially for projects needing a lot of information and external sources. This is a way to learn about certain things within an article that can help them discover a deeper meaning of anything.
